Proud Supporter of the Biker Community

I’m a motorcyclist and I was going to the Butterfly Estates down in Fort Myers [Florida], actually, and a man ran a stop sign and T-boned me. Still… difficult to talk about.

I was in a near fatal motorcycle accident – I was T-boned on a bike – I never even saw it coming and I met him [Bruce L. Scheiner] a month and a half later when I woke up from the coma they induced me in. I don’t remember too much of anything except that an attorney came in to the, my room and I said “I don’t want that attorney, I want Bruce Scheiner”.

Well the biker community has a special place in my heart, because most bikers are free-willing people, they have, they seek freedom and they just love to go out there and feel free and ride their bikes. You know, they’re in a higher proportion of accidents than, you know, most vehicles, because people don’t give them the right of way they should and they’re hurt more seriously than, you know, someone that was in a car.

Bruce [Scheiner] has a lot of respect from the people who ride motorcycles down here. He supports bikers, he supports the different organizations out there and is a part of it, he’s a part of the community, he’s a part of the family and you can’t, you can’t be friends with bikers if you’re not part of the community and friendly towards bikers in the community, because they won’t have nothing to do with you.

They really need someone that knows about bikers, their rights and that’s willing to help them and that’s what we [Associates and Bruce L. Scheiner] like to do.

I would definitely refer and, specifically for other motorcyclists, because I mean, there was that understanding from the get-go and I would say that if you need somebody in your corner to fight for you, they’re the ones.

At the end of the day, it’s just, it’s a comforting feeling to know that he’s got your back. He’s got your back, and that’s what, that’s part of the process of being part of the biker community is you know that you can trust somebody when they got you covered, when they got your back, when they’re looking out for you and taking care of you.
