In 2009, I was in a really serious motorcycle accident. I was med-flighted to Lee Memorial Health Systems. I was in a near fatal motorcycle accident. I was t-boned on a bike. I never even saw it coming. And I met him a month and a half later when I woke up from the coma they induced me in. I don’t remember too much of anything except that the attorney came into my room and I said I don’t want that attorney. I want Bruce Scheiner. Bruce is real active in the biker world. So, naturally you hear things, from work-of-mouth about his reputation and everything. Bruce has a lot of respect from the people who ride motorcycles down here. He supports bikers, he supports the different organizations out there and is a part of it. He’s a part of the community, he’s a part of the family. And you can’t be friends with bikers if you’re not part of the community and friendly towards bikers and that community because they won’t have nothing to do with you. I’ve been in the biker world for quite a while and the people within there also speak highly of Bruce because he brings us to the front lines, you know. And helps other people. He makes them aware of what goes on within the biker’s world. At the end of the day, it’s a comforting feeling to know that he’s got your back. He’s got your back, and that’s part of the process of being part of the biker community is you know that you can trust somebody when they got you covered, when they got your back, when they’re looking out for you, and taking care of you.
