Education
Stephen J. Stefanik earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics at Robert Morris University near his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During his time at Robert Morris, Stephen distinguished himself by receiving multiple awards for his work in economics. He also served as the President of the Pre-Law Society. Stephen was later awarded a scholarship to attend Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida.
Experience
Always eager to fight for the “underdog,” Stephen began his career as a Public Defender in Lee County, using his skills to defend the rights of the accused. After gaining courtroom experience and driven by a desire to have a greater impact, Stephen founded his own law firm, assisting clients in various criminal and personal injury matters.
For the last several years, he has worked for an established South Florida law firm specializing in personal injury cases. Stephen’s ability to analyze, problem-solve, and negotiate settlements has enabled him to successfully handle countless intricate personal injury matters.
Community Involvement
Stephen has served on the Cape Coral Affordable Housing Advisory Committee. He has also participated in local theater productions, allowing him to express his creativity and develop improvisation skills that have proved valuable in the courtroom. Additionally, Stephen has worked as an official with the Greater Naples Officiating Association, refereeing local high school football games. He currently volunteers at his local church parish.
When he is not practicing law or engaging with the local community, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family and rescue dogs. He also enjoys CrossFit, reading, and spending time outdoors.
